Terms and Conditions for SVN Kitchen Hire
- Definitions
1.1. “Provider” refers to SVN HIRE the owner of the kitchen facilities. 1.2. “Hirer” refers to the individual or organization renting the kitchen facilities. 1.3. “Premises” refers to the kitchen facilities located at Unit 25 and 31 Anchor and hope lane.
- Booking and Payment
2.1. Bookings must be made at least 24hrs in advance. 2.2. A deposit of £400 is required to secure the booking. 2.3. Full payment must be made before the hire date. 2.4. Payment can be made via Bank Transfer.
- Hire Period
3.1. The hire period starts from the agreed time and ends at the agreed time. 3.2. Any additional time will be charged at the standard hourly rate. 3.3. The kitchen must be vacated promptly at the end of the hire period.3.4 failure to inform Provider via email and or text of additional time will result in a loss of full deposit plus additional standard hourly rate
- Use of Premises
4.1. The Hirer may use the kitchen for permitted Uses: food preparation, cooking classes, film and production. 4.2. The Hirer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations. 4.3. The kitchen must not be used for any illegal or unauthorized activities. 4.4. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that all users of the kitchen are aware of and comply with these terms and conditions.
- Equipment and Facilities
5.1. Any damage or loss must be reported immediately and will be charged to the Hirer.5.2
- Cleaning and Maintenance
6.1. The kitchen must be left in a clean and tidy condition. 6.2. All waste must be disposed of in the provided bin bags. 6.3. A cleaning fee of £100 will be charged if the kitchen is not left in a satisfactory condition.
- Cancellations and Refunds
7.1. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 72 hours before the hire date to receive a full refund. 7.2. Cancellations made less than 72hrs before the hire date will forfeit the deposit. 7.3. The Provider reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
- Liability
8.1. The Provider is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the Hirer or any third parties during the hire period. 8.2. The Hirer is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance cover for their activities.
- Indemnity
9.1. The Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from the Hirer’s use of the kitchen.
- Termination
10.1. The Provider reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement immediately if the Hirer breaches any of these terms and conditions. 10.2. In the event of termination, no refund will be provided, and the Hirer must vacate the premises immediately.
- Acceptance of Terms
11.1. By making a booking, the Hirer agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
